Kimberley Swords is an experienced and strategic former senior executive, now serving as Chair, non-Executive Director, and Advisor to the leaders who are changing the world.

Kimberley’s working career started in customer service in the 1980’s as a school and a veterinary science student in Brisbane. She then practiced as a rural veterinary surgeon before joining State Government, first as a science advisor, and then as a program investment manager in sustainability.

Since 2000, Kimberley has advised CEOs, Government Ministers, private leaders, and others aiming for system change in sectors including: transport, major projects, planning, agriculture, energy, environment, procurement, and ICT. Kimberley also held senior roles as an environmental regulator, representing Governments in public forums, media, courts, and official hearings.

In 2015 she moved from executive public sector leadership to advisory and consulting roles as part of Nous Group, inside Government, and McKinsey and Company. She focused on economic development, sustainability and environment topics, with a bias to systems scale change.

In 2024 Kimberley embarked full time on the jounrny of discovery that is Riffle Advisory.
